Nestled among the rolling hills of Le Marche, La Luna nell'Orto is a beautifully built biodynamic farm where life follows a gentler rhythm.
Here, you'll wake to birdsong, practise yoga beneath the trees, wander quiet country lanes, swim in the Adriatic Sea and gather around long tables for simple, nourishing meals.
There is nothing to achieve here.
Just time to breathe, reconnect and remember how little we truly need to feel content.

Seven unrushed days surrounded by nature.
Wake gently with morning slow-flow yoga before enjoying fresh seasonal breakfasts prepared from ingredients grown on La Luna nell'Orto or from farms in close proximity.
Spend your days exactly as you choose.
Join guided walks through the beautiful countryside around Barchi, hike into the surrounding hills, swim in the Adriatic at nearby Fano or simply read beneath the trees beside the natural swimming pond.
Join in mindful walks, relax in the wood-fired sauna or book an optional Ayurvedic massage with Domenico.
One afternoon Petra will gently guide an intuitive painting session not about artistic ability, but simply expressing yourself through colour in a playful, relaxed way.
As evening arrives we'll gather again for restorative yoga before sharing home-cooked vegetarian Italian meals.
Nothing is rushed.
Everything is optional.
There is space simply to be.
The place
La Luna nell'Orto is more than somewhere to stay.
It is a working biodynamic farm lovingly created by artist Petra Bartels as her family home as and a place where people can reconnect with nature, creativity and slower living.
Accommodation is simple, comfortable and full of character, with a mixture of private rooms, shared apartments and charming converted shepherd's huts nestled throughout the property.
A natural swimming pond, vegetable gardens, fruit trees and quiet corners invite you to slow down and settle into the landscape.
The location
La Luna nell'Orto sits in the peaceful countryside just outside the medieval village of Barchi.
A gentle 20 minute walk through the fields brings you to its quiet streets, where life moves slowly and cafés spill onto the piazza.
Beyond the village are vineyards, olive groves, wooded hills and walking trails, while the Adriatic coast and the beaches of Fano are only around a twenty minutes drive away.
It is Italy as many people remember it, unhurried, welcoming and deeply connected to the land.
